Our commitment: play is entertainment, not a source of income

We want the time you spend with us to be enjoyable and affordable. Roulette and the other games in our lobby are games of chance with a built-in house edge, so the longer anyone plays, the more likely it is that the house finishes ahead. Treat whatever you stake as the cost of entertainment rather than a way to earn money, recover losses or solve a financial problem.

Setting a budget before you start is the most useful habit you can build. Decide how much you can afford to lose and how long you want to play, then enter those figures as limits in your account so the decision is not left to the heat of the moment.

Our services are for adults aged 18 or over only. We hold a gaming licence and we verify the identity, age and payment details of every account holder before play and withdrawals are released.

  • Play only with money set aside for entertainment, never with money needed for rent, bills, food or credit repayments.
  • Do not gamble to chase losses or to win back money you have already lost.
  • Avoid gambling when you are stressed, upset or under the influence of alcohol.
  • Watch the clock as well as the balance, and never borrow in order to gamble.

The tools in your account and how to switch them on

Every account includes a set of safer gambling controls. You will find them in the responsible gaming area of the cashier or account settings, and our live chat team can apply any of them for you if you would rather not do it yourself.

  1. Sign in and open the account menu, then choose the responsible gaming section.
  2. Pick the control you want: a deposit limit, loss limit, session limit, reality check, time-out or self-exclusion.
  3. Enter the amount or period you want and confirm it. The ranges available are shown on screen.
  4. Check the summary in your account, where each active control and the date it started are listed.
ControlWhat it doesHow it ends
Deposit limitCaps what you can deposit in a day, week or month.Runs until you change it.
Loss limitCaps your net losses over the period you choose.Runs until you change it.
Session limitCloses your session once the time you set has passed.Applies to each new session.
Reality checkShows an on-screen reminder of time played and your net position at the interval you set.Continues until you turn it off.
Time-outBlocks play and deposits for a short break of the length you choose.Lifts on its own when the period expires.
Self-exclusionBlocks gambling for a longer minimum period and removes you from our marketing.Cannot be lifted before the period ends.

Time-outs and self-exclusion

A time-out suits a short break: your account is frozen for play and deposits, and it reopens automatically. Self-exclusion is for a longer and firmer break. Once it is in place we block access to gambling and stop marketing to you, and we will not reopen the account before the minimum period has ended, and then only at your request and after a further cooling-off period. Any withdrawable balance is returned to you by the method shown in the cashier.

Signs that gambling may be causing harm

Gambling harm tends to build gradually and is easier to spot in a checklist than in the moment. Go through the points below honestly, thinking about the past few months.

  • You spend more money or more time on gambling than you planned, or you lose track of either.
  • You gamble to win back losses, or raise your stakes in order to do so.
  • You borrow money, sell belongings or use money meant for bills in order to gamble.
  • You hide how much you gamble from family, friends or colleagues.
  • Gambling is affecting your work, studies, sleep, mood or relationships.
  • You feel restless or irritable when you try to cut down or stop.
  • Someone close to you has said they are worried about your gambling.

If more than one of these sounds familiar, set a limit or a time-out today and speak to one of the organisations below. Help is free and confidential, and you do not have to be in crisis to use it.

Where to get free and confidential help

These UK organisations support anyone affected by gambling, including family members and friends. You can contact them yourself without going through us.

  • GambleAware is a charity that funds and promotes free information, advice and treatment for gambling harm across Great Britain, and publishes practical guidance on budgeting and cutting down.
  • GamCare provides free counselling, support and group sessions for people affected by their own or someone else's gambling, delivered in person, by telephone and online.
  • GamStop is the free national online self-exclusion scheme: one registration blocks you from gambling sites licensed in Great Britain for the period you choose when you sign up.
  • The National Gambling Helpline is free and confidential, staffed by trained advisers who will talk through your situation and arrange treatment or ongoing support.

Our team can apply limits, a time-out or self-exclusion, confirm what is active on your account and point you towards these services, but we are not trained counsellors. Reach us on live chat or by e-mail at support@casinorouletteonline.co.uk, or write to responsiblegaming@casinorouletteonline.co.uk about anything on this page.

Protecting children and others in your household

We check the age and identity of every person who registers, and we may ask for documents at any point before or after a deposit. Accounts stay restricted until those checks are complete, and we act on any report that a person under 18 has gained access to our games.

If you share a computer, tablet or phone, filtering and parental control software can block gambling sites on that device and on your home network. Most operating systems and broadband services include these controls as standard, and specialist blocking software is also available for devices used by children.

  • Keep your password private and never let anyone else use your account or payment details.
  • Do not save your login details or card details in a browser that children can open.
  • Set up separate user profiles on shared devices and lock your own with a passcode.
  • Talk to children about why gambling is restricted to adults, and tell us if you believe an underage person has used our site.
