Betting and Game Rules

This page sets out the rules that apply when you place a bet, spin or hand with us, and how each round is settled. It sits alongside our Terms & Conditions and the help file inside each game.

General rules that apply to all play

These rules apply to every bet placed with us, in addition to our Terms & Conditions and any promotional terms you have accepted. Where a specific game's rules differ, the rules shown inside that game decide the round in question.

We hold a gaming licence for the operation of our games and we verify the identity of every account holder. You must be 18 or over to register or play.

One account per player

  • You may hold one account with us. Duplicate accounts may be closed and bets placed through them may be voided.
  • Your account is personal to you. You must not let anyone else fund it or place bets through it.
  • The name on your account must match the name on your identification and on your payment method.
  • Play from a place where our games are not available is not permitted, and such rounds may be voided.

Real-money and bonus balances

Your balance may hold real money, bonus funds or both. Where both are available, your stake is taken in the order shown in the cashier, and the bonus rules below apply to any part of a stake funded from a bonus balance.

Bets are final once placed

A bet is accepted when our game server has received and confirmed it. Once a round has started you cannot cancel or change a bet, and we cannot reverse a settled round at your request. Please double-check your stake and your selection before you confirm.

How bets and spins are settled

Every outcome is produced on our game servers, not on your device, and your screen only displays what the server has already decided.

  • The result recorded by the game server is final, including where your screen shows something different because of a display or connection fault.
  • Each round is settled under the rules and paytable published inside the game, which you can open from the game's menu before you play.
  • Winnings are paid to your balance at the odds and multipliers shown in that paytable, for the stake actually accepted.
  • Side bets, gamble features and in-game bonus rounds are governed by the terms in the game's own help file.

Each game shows its theoretical return-to-player figure in its help or information screen. That figure is calculated over a very long series of rounds and describes long-run behaviour, not the result to expect in a single session.

Malfunctions, disconnections and interrupted rounds

A malfunction voids all pays and play. Where a game, our servers or the link between them does not work as intended, any result produced by the fault has no effect.

  1. Stakes taken for an affected round are returned to the balance they came from.
  2. If a round cannot be completed, we settle it in line with the game's rules or return the stake.
  3. If you lose your connection part-way through a round, the round is either completed by the server or held open and resumed the next time you open the game.
  4. Where the server had already settled a round before the connection dropped, that result stands and appears in your game history.
  5. Rounds affected by an error in a paytable or in the odds offered may be voided and the stakes returned.

The game history in your account is the record we work from. If a round looks incomplete or a balance looks wrong, open the game again first, then contact us with the details listed in the final section.

Playing with bonus funds

Bonus funds, free spins and other promotional credits are governed by the terms of the promotion you accepted, together with our general bonus terms. Where those terms and this page differ, the bonus terms apply to the bonus.

  • Wagering requirements, eligible games and the time allowed to complete them are set out in each promotion's terms and in the promotions area of your account.
  • A maximum bet applies while a wagering requirement is open. Stakes above it may lead to the bonus and any winnings from it being removed.
  • Games contribute to wagering at different rates and some do not contribute at all. The rates are listed in the bonus terms.
  • Play designed to cover most or all outcomes of a game in order to clear wagering with little risk is not permitted and may void the bonus.
  • Winnings from bonus funds may be capped. Any cap is stated in the terms of the promotion.

Live casino and table games

Live tables are hosted by a dealer and run to the pace of the table. Each table carries its own help file covering bet types, payouts, stake limits and the specific rules in use there.

  • The dealer's call, together with the result recorded by the table system, decides the round.
  • Bets must be placed and confirmed inside the betting window shown at the table. Late bets are not accepted and are returned.
  • Whatever position your chips sit in when betting closes is the bet that is settled, so place them with care.
  • Where a card is exposed in error, a wheel result is invalid or a shoe is misdealt, the round may be declared void under the table's rules and the stakes returned.
  • Table limits, and any limits applied to your account, are shown before you take a seat.

If you leave a table or lose your connection, bets already confirmed for that round stand and are settled by the table in your absence. The outcome appears in your game history.

Questions and disputes about a round

If you believe a round has been settled incorrectly, contact us as soon as you can. We look into each case against the server records and the game history held on your account.

  1. Write to support@casinorouletteonline.co.uk or use the live chat on this site.
  2. Give the name of the game, the date and time of the round including your time zone, and the round reference shown in your game history.
  3. Tell us what you expected and what you saw, with your stake and your balance before and after the round.

We will confirm receipt of your message and tell you the outcome of our checks. Where we find a fault, we correct the balance and void the affected rounds. If you are not satisfied with our answer, our complaints procedure sets out the next steps, including referral to the alternative dispute resolution provider named there.
